This is the website for the CHE Research Trust (CHERT) which has been established by CHE, the Campaign for Homosexual Equality, and was registered in March 2022 by the Charity Commission as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) – number 1198217. CHERT has three members, its founding trustees, and a large number of Associate Members or supporters, most of whom had been members of CHE.
CHE and CHERT held a joint Conference in October 2022 (Minutes available here – PDF), combining the public launch of CHERT and the 50th CHE Conference). It agreed a new constitution for CHE; the main function of CHE henceforward is to support the work of CHERT, and the Trustees of CHERT are now ex officio the Executive Committee of CHE.
